This course is delivered alongside our Pet CPR and first aid OR as a tailored on site delivery for businesses, private groups or individuals.
Course fees include a manual and certificate. If you would like us to cover specific queries, breeds, circumstances, or conditions which are not included in the pet first aid syllabus, please let us know. We welcome learners who are visually or audibly impaired, or have a disability, and make it a priority to include everyone in all aspects of the classroom sessions.

Both our basic canine first aid and our Certified Canine first aid classroom courses are also great Petworking opportunities. We have seen many dog walkers/ pet sitters share experiences and ideas. New lasting connections and friendships are also created on most of our courses. Please note, because you lovely lot all have so much to say, and so many questions we try to limit classes to just 6 learners.

Security Dog First Aid. For Dog handlers who work with a specially trained dogs (4 hours CPD time credit conformation)

Time: 10 to 14.30

Duration: 4.5 hours

Price: £65.00 per student. (20% Discount for group bookings) Including Manuals and Certificate.

This course is approved by NASDU (National Association of Security Dog Users) for the requirement of pet first aid which meets their standards. The nature of working with dogs will pose a risk that they may be harmed in the course of their work. This Security Dog First Aid course is essential, not only does it comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need. Course fees include (upon successful completion) a detailed first aid manual, official certified wall certificate and handy wallet card. Online courses are all video based, not slide based, so it’s more like having your very own personal tutor on a flexible timetable.

We have designed this course to meet the NASDU learning outcomes and added a few extra modules to ensure full understanding.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and comes with a certified CPD statement as well as a certificate.

Aviation First Aid with animals.

Duration: Courses are between 2 and a full day depending on existing training and individual requirements.

This course is predominately for flight attendants who are required to not only look after clients but also their animals.
Animals must be checked over by a Vet within a specific time frame when crossing boarders. Why not have piece of mind that you or their guardian will know how to cope whilst in transit.

If you have an interest or business within the pet field we would love to meet you. Our petworking events are fantastic opportunity to share ideas, pick up all sorts of useful tips and information, and make new connections. This is an informal meet up although you will have an opportunity to pitch your own business to the group, this is not mandatory.

Level 3 (VTQ) Equestrian First Aid at Work Course. Full FAW or FAW Requalification options

Time: 10am to 4.30pm

Duration: 18 hours over 3 Days

Venue(s): The Bridge Training Rooms Newmarket Suffolk

Price: £180 Per Person (group discounts available)

This course is aimed at anyone involved with horses where the FAW (First Aid at Work) qualification is needed in addition to specific injuries involved when working with horses. If you are involved in teaching riding or other activities you are required to have the BHS (British Horse Society) first aid qualification or the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) FAW qualification. With this course you will gain the approved FAW with extra subjects and apply the course to the equestrian world.

In May 2016 the HSE and Awarding Organisations announced that computer-based blended training is now allowed for all workplace first aid courses. You can now become a fully qualified First Aider in the workplace, with two days of classroom training after completing this online course. Reduce your training and travel costs by using our engaging, blended online video-based course. Learn at your pace, one to one with your instructor at a time that suits you.

Advanced Pet First Aid Level 3 (VTQ) with 7.0 hours of CPD

Duration: approximately 6 hours in total to suit your schedule

Price: £39.95 + VAT per learner including manual, assessment and downloads

The course can be taken 100% online, therefore, you do not need to complete a practical module but if you would like a practical session to practice your skills, you can attend one of our canine OR pet classroom courses with an approved and monitored advanced pet first aid instructor locally. An Interactive, practical course taught in a fun and friendly environment, delivered by First Aid and Companion Animal Professionals. Suitable for those working with animals or just curious responsible pet owners. Upon successful completion students can purchase a detailed First Aid Manual, and will receive a certificate of attendance. Understanding basic first aid for your pet will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse, before professional help is given by your vet.
If you are working professionally with animals our longer CPD certified courses may be more appropriate.
