The First Aid at Work Level 3 qualification (FAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent including the 1st October 2017 changes.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements (2015 are the latest guidelines). Our Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications. We deliver on site, even at short notice.
In May 2016 the HSE and Awarding Organisations announced that computer-based blended training is allowed for all workplace first aid courses. You can now become a fully qualified First Aider in the workplace, with two days of classroom training after completing this online course. Reduce your training and travel costs by using our engaging, blended online video-based course. Learn at your pace, one to one with your instructor at a time that suits you.

Safe Moving & Handling Level 2
Manual Handling for all workplace requirements. Meets requirements of HSE Manual Handling Regulations 1992
Duration: 1.5 hours

This course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in manual handling and is ideal for all workplace requirements. The course is designed to meet the requirements and recommendations of the HSE Manual Handling Regulations 1992.
Correct manual handling training will reduce the risk of accidents occurring by identifying and preventing them. Manual handling is not difficult to learn but can save a lot of problems for employers and employees. This course covers the moving of objects

Security Dog First Aid. For Dog handlers who work with a specially trained dogs (4 hours CPD time credit conformation)
This course is approved by NASDU (National Association for Security Dog Users) for the requirement of pet first aid in their standards.

This course is approved by NASDU (National Association of Security Dog Users) for the requirement of pet first aid which meets their standards. The nature of working with dogs will pose a risk that they may be harmed in the course of their work. This Security Dog First Aid course is essential, not only does it comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need. Course fees include (upon successful completion) a detailed first aid manual, official certified wall certificate and handy wallet card. Online courses are all video based, not slide based, so it’s more like having your very own personal tutor on a flexible timetable.
We have designed this course to meet the NASDU learning outcomes and added a few extra modules to ensure full understanding.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and comes with a certified CPD statement as well as a certificate.

Recognising and Treating Anaphylaxis
Duration: 1 Hour
Price: Free (Included in most practical classroom training courses as per the syllabus)
This course is an online training course and can be completed as a stand-alone course or as a refresher course.
Participants will receive a certificate and manual as part as the course cost.
Please be aware that Anaphylaxis and Allergy awareness training, including safe use of Auto injectors, is INCLUDED in many of our classroom practical courses. If you are taking a level 3 Paediatric 6 hour course or a Paediatric 12 hour course, a sports first aid course, a bridge basic life support course or a 3 day FAW course, FAW requalification or refresher, anaphylaxis will be covered as part of the syllabus. Learners also get to practice with trainer auto injection units Epi-Pens, Emerade and Jext.

Concussion and Brain Injury Awareness
Highly recommended for anyone working with children, in sports or high risk environments
We have teamed up with Headway Suffolk to produce a course on brain injury and concussion. There has been a lot of news in many different sports worldwide on how head injuries are not taken seriously in sports. This course not only talks about a head injury but also where it can lead to and the lengthy recovery time required.
This course covers the effects of a head injury and looks at the damage that can occur to the brain.

The First Aid at Work Level 3 (VTQ) Requalification (FAW) is ideal for most businesses whose risk assessment has identified that they require a fully trained first aider for their workplace and they need to requalify their certification. All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.
This is a 100% classroom course over two days but we also offer blended training where you complete one day online, saving a day in the classroom.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements. ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
This course must be at least 12 contact hours and run over a minimum of 2 days and the certificate is valid for 3 years.

Our half day course is an introductory four hour session to raise awareness of mental health.
Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. We limit numbers per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
